Amanda McCombs is originally from Oregon, but has lived in Utah for quite a long time. Her fondest memories are of her time spent playing in the forest in her backyard, collecting animals and experimenting with paints and art materials. She spent a lot of time at the Oregon coast exploring tide pools and jumping in the waves. Amanda is the youngest of 7 children, and has a good number of nieces and nephews that she loves very much! She has two daughters of her own, as well as two step-daughters that were brought into her family when she married a couple years ago. They have two cats who are equal parts trouble and love. She is slightly Disney obsessed and has a hard time saying no to fresh lemonade and Oreos! She graduated from the University of Utah in 2014 with a bachelor degree in Family and Consumer Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education and a TESOL certification (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). She started a preschool/prekindergarten program at a Catholic school and spent most of her career managing and teaching in preschool/daycare programs.
