Anjeanette (AJ) Armstrong takes pride in bringing passion and enthusiasm to the classroom, helping others reach their potential and discovering new and better ways to teach. She strives to have a positive impact on self-esteem and building confidence in others.
AJ attended Western Governors University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and a Master of Education degree in Learning and Technology. She is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
During her career she has developed acumen in various facets of the HR industry, yet found her passion in learning and development. She teaches courses such as 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (and Teens), Leading Across Generations and Whole Brain Thinking. She’s a lifelong learner who promotes continuous improvement and strives to inspire others to stretch and build their knowledge and skill sets.
When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her with her family at the movies, on the golf course, hitting the slopes, or exploring a new city or island. She loves to work hard and play hard and encourages others to do the same.
AJ enjoys teaching at ELA and looks forward to creating many great experiences and memories!
