Brogan Johnson grew up in the small town of Salina, Utah. He attended a small high school, which gave him the opportunity to get involved with many clubs and activities in order to keep busy. He earned a reputation for doing well in his math courses, which allowed for his peers to look for his help when they were struggling. He voluntarily tutored several of his peers in their math courses.
After high school he moved north to attend Utah Valley University. Having no idea what to do with his future, he enrolled in the pre-engineering program. After finishing the required math classes for the program, he decided that he didn’t want to stop learning math. This is when he changed his major to mathematics. While attending UVU, he tutored in the math lab for over two years on his way to obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
In his spare time, Brogan enjoys sporting events. He likes to play volleyball and basketball mostly, but is always up for trying new things. He is a strong supporter of his younger brother and sister (who are involved in many sports) and tries to catch as many of their games as he can. He also likes enjoying boating, traveling to new places, and enjoying the outdoors.
Brogan is excited to work with the junior high math students and looking forward to becoming a part of the ELA community!
