Ms. Nara is delighted to be your teacher! Born in Mongolia, she came to the U.S and spent the majority of her life in Denver, CO and now considers herself to be a Colorado Native. After graduating from University of Colorado at Boulder, she decided to pursue her career in education. She spent the last two years in special education and supporting students with their individual needs. She decided to make the move for Utah to teach 3rd grade and be with her husband. She can’t wait to utilize her skills from special education to support all students in her classroom. She is so excited to join the ELA family!
When she was a student, she came across some amazing teachers who shed light on her mentality for school and encouraged her to learn. She was pushed to high standards. As an adult, she would like to do the same. Ms. Nara believes all children can and wants to show students that she cares about their education so that they can empower themselves in their own academic journey.
During her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and taking road trips.
