Laura Patton

Special Education Paraprofessional

Laura Patton grew up on the Western Coast in Southern California. As a young adult she moved to the wild west, or Arizona as some call it. After many years in Arizona and a couple of moves to other states, she arrived in Utah in 1990. Miss Laura currently resides in the farming community of Sanpete County on a small homestead.

Miss Laura attended Northland Pioneer College, which is located in the White Mountains of Arizona. She earned an AAS in Midwifery. She continued her education while working as a licensed midwife. This gave many opportunities to explore several medical vocations.

Miss Laura has been blessed with 15 children, of those 10 are adopted. She has 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Family is Miss Laura’s passion. She enjoys many hobbies and interests include being outdoors. Hiking, skiing and gardening are a few. She enjoys farmstead living and learning primitive skills.

Miss Laura is delighted to be a part of Early Light Academy’s special education department as a paraprofessional. She brings experience from her experience as an advocate, professional, and now adoptive mother for children with special needs.
