Leah Gorrell was born and raised in the Fire Hydrant Capital of the World - Albertville, Alabama. She is proud to say that ELA has a few hydrants on campus that were made there! After high school, she attended a small college in Alabama for one year before moving to Atlanta. She also attended Utah Valley University for a few semesters studying Early Elementary Education, she hopes to go back and get a degree when she finds time and money.
She has gained work experience in several different positions and fields including, representative for a car insurance company, and clerk with a city building inspection department. PEAK Hospitality Rep for several years and Kindergarten aide for 3 years. She is excited to begin the new chapter of her life being the 2nd grade aide. And she still trying to figure out how to pass off the lyrics of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air into her work Bio without anyone noticing.
In her free time, she enjoys playing board games, reading books, cooking with her crock pot, watching British television and films, shopping, using Pinterest, and traveling. She also love chatting with friends, meeting new people, cheering on the University of Alabama football team. posting pictures of fire hydrants on Instagram and exploring Daybreak with her two boys, who attend Early Light Academy.
